For nearly 25 years, Purpose Driven training and resources have served churches worldwide.
The essence of Purpose Driven is a transferable biblical process, applicable in any culture, in any denomination, and in churches of any size or shape. Our heart is to encourage and equip church leadership with ongoing strategies, tools, training, and coaching communities.
We believe a healthy, balanced church helps develop changed lives – people who are driven by the five biblical purposes that God designed for every human life. To introduce the biblical principles behind The Purpose Driven Life, we created an intensive church-wide spiritual growth campaign called 40 Days of Purpose. It’s been used by tens of thousands of churches around the world. Through 40 Days of Purpose, millions of people are now living lives of purpose, transformed by the power of God’s grace.
They’ve been baptized as believers in Christ, welcomed into church fellowship, connected to a small group or Sunday school class for discipleship, taught how to approach God in sincere and authentic worship, equipped for ministry and service to others, and commissioned to fulfill their unique, God-appointed mission to the world. 40 Days of Purpose will help your congregation focus on the Kingdom of God, showing each member how to join God in his work throughout the world. Nothing brings more glory to God than having his people fulfill his purposes here on earth.
The goal, then, is not to simply take your congregation through 40 Days of Purpose; we believe it will compel your members toward Kingdom work that is greater than any individual, single congregation, or successful denomination. As the Body of Christ, we must all work together “to serve God’s purpose in our generation” (Acts 13:36).
As God’s purposes are lived out by every believer, practiced in every small group, and fulfilled by every church, imagine the difference it will make in the world! Friend, these are the most exciting days to be alive! We believe this is the beginning of a holy movement, involving churches of all shapes and sizes working together toward the same purposes.
