PREPARATION THAT WILL FOCUS YOUR CAMPAIGN
Keep in mind that the seeds of 40 Days of Purpose are really sown in your preparation—and the harvest of your campaign will reflect it! We're here to help you succeed by providing you with every helpful tool, resource, or means of support possible. We'll get you started and even walk you through the process if you need it, but our goal is to empower you with the ability to take it and run!
The campaign will require advanced planning from your staff, leadership team, and all ministries. A minimum planning timeline of 2-3 months is strongly recommended. Begin your planning even earlier to reduce stress and make the campaign more enjoyable for everyone. Here are the six steps to successful planning: | 1. Cast the Vision: Your first and most important step is to cast a shared vision for your leadership, staff, and ministries. | 2. Recruit & Pray (12 Weeks Before): Recruit your team of Campaign Champions, Pray and commit your campaign to God, and dive into your Resource Kit. | | 3. Train (10 Weeks Before): Begin preparation with video training and weekly meetings, share the appropriate Campaign Resources and adaptable tools with each champion, and begin planning your campaign resource mix. | 4. Plan (8 Weeks Before): Finalize campaign timeline and communication plan, order campaign resources, and begin campaign event planning. | | 5. Prepare (6 Weeks Before): Customize communication and campaign tools, finalize campaign events, and plan resource distribution for individuals and group hosts. | 6. Promote (4 Weeks Before): Launch your communication plan, and recruit group H.O.S.T.S. |
RESOURCE KIT
With your campaign registration you will receive a Resource Kit with five types of resources: Training and Coaching, Examples, Samples, and Complete Resources. Each resource or tool is flexible and adaptable to your church and your specific needs. The production-quality graphic files empower you to select, adapt, and produce optional resources to enhance your campaign.
