Community doesn’t happen automatically. And joining a church doesn’t guarantee fellowship! You can attend church services your entire life and still feel lonely and disconnected. The Bible says, “You must learn to be considerate of one another, cultivating a life in common” (1 Corinthians 1:10, MSG).

BUILDING ON PURPOSE:  The “Next Step” in Spiritual Growth

Community doesn’t happen automatically. And joining a church doesn’t guarantee fellowship! You can attend church services your entire life and still feel lonely and disconnected. The Bible says, “You must learn to be considerate of one another, cultivating a life in common” (1 Corinthians 1:10, MSG). Notice that fellowship is something we must learn how to do. It must be intentionally cultivated. The focus of this 40-day journey is on fulfilling God’s five purposes together.  We’ll do this two ways: first, by deepening the community of love within our church family, and second, by reaching out in love to the community around our church family. Both are essential for a healthy, balanced, purpose driven life.

By the end of 40 Days of Community, your congregation should:

- Place a greater value on the relationships within your church

- Have a solid commitment to the local body as well as to their small groups

  • - Cultivate a deeper spirit of harmony, love, and appreciation for each other
  • - Better understand where they fit within the vision and mission of your church
  • - Extend influence in your community through outreach projects

BIG BREAKTHROUGHS IN 40 DAYS

40 Days of Community is an essential next step in spiritual growth for your congregation. You’ll realize a deeper sense of love and community within your church. You’ll experience exponential spiritual growth through small groups, with a new strategy to sustain them for the long-term.
