The Campaign Resource CD is packed with over 200 resources including templates for campaign communication and hand-outs, sermon notes, and Powerpoint support. These resources adapt easily to fit your church's style and denominational preferences.
With the exception of the Better Together workbook and the small group teaching DVDs, this CD provides you with all of the necessary Campaign materials and resources in Word, Excel and PDF formats. Professional graphics files are also provided for all of your promotional items so that you can customize and reproduce them yourself.

This 40 Days of Community Kick-Off message is the call to action for this campaign. This message by Rick Warren and the Saddleback musicians is included in your kit on DVD. You'll also be given seven worship service plans, which include the messages Rick Warren preached each week at Saddleback. You can use these message transcripts, PowerPoints, songs, and feature ideas in any way you wish in your preparation to communicate each week's theme.
Daily Devotional, Journal, and Small Group Study Workbook
Upon registration (online at www.pdmsa.org) 5 copies of the Better Together campaign workbook will be posted to you. Each workbook combines the daily devotional book, the daily journal, and the weekly small group study guide into one easy-to-use workbook. This soft-bound book will be the campaign companion for everyone in your church.
Group Teaching Tools for All Age Groups:
Group life is truly the engine of 40 Days of Community. We'll equip you to launch groups using the Host Home strategy. This simple strategy recruits "hosts" instead of "leaders" and offers easy ways to connect people into groups. Often people are intimidated to lead a group, and imagine that only "Bible experts" need apply. We've found that using the group teaching DVDs with Rick Warren will help overcome any hesitation. Each weekly teaching even includes "Helps for Hosts," which offers preparation suggestions and encouragement. Group hosts can relax and enjoy their role, finding it easy to guide discussions and respons to questions.
You'll receive a copy of the 40 Days of Community group DVD teachings. Each lesson is harmonized with weekend messages and daily readings. Group life is vital to your 40-day journey, and through these lessons your group will grow, serve, and reach out to your church and local community.
